Soho South Cafe, located in the heart of Downtown Savannah, Georgia, is a large event venue suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, brunches, corporate events, and any celebratory event! Soho South is suitable for celebrations of up to 150 people. The venue has been furnished to include design elements iconic of New York City. This historic venue, with its vast interior space, includes exposed features of the original building including large steel frame windows, iron trusses, and solid wood garage doors. This unique space features high ceilings, glass chandeliers, a large illuminated clock face, and a separate bar area ideal for cocktail-style events.

History

The building in which Soho South is located was built in 1945 and originally used as an automotive service station. It then sat vacant for many years until the original restaurant’s owner transformed the building into a restaurant. Soho South opened its doors in 1997, so called after the iconic New York neighborhood due to its vibrant location. The restaurant was acquired and remodeled by Daniel Reed Hospitality and today functions purely as a private event venue.
